The National Memorial Family Fund first launched the Crisis Family Fund in March 2021 in partnership with the United Families & Friends Campaign (UFFC).

The Crisis Family Fund will always be open to applications for urgent needs ONLY of affected families (dependent on available resources). This Fund reopens on 1 August 2024.

Important Note: Priority will be given to applications from families that have been recently bereaved or those facing renewed or delayed trauma).

Grants will generally be between £50 to a maximum of £250. Some grants awarded may be less (or more) than the amount requested. Family Fund Assessment Partners will largely drive the application process, with quick decisions made by our team.

Families receiving a Crisis Fund grant will not be required to submit any feedback (as is the case with the general Family Support Fund grant rounds).

The Process:

The first stage of the current process (registration) and grant limits will still apply, but from that point forward there is a simple endorsement that Assessment Partners will submit to the Memorial Family Fund - and that's it!
