The United Families & Friends Campaign is a coalition of families and friends of those that have died in the custody of police and prison officers as well as those who are killed in secure immigration units and psychiatric hospitals.

Thousands take to the streets in 2022 to protest over deaths in police custody

Campaigners and the relatives of Chris Kaba, Oladeji Omishore, Matthew Leahy, and others signed a letter addressed to Rishi Sunak which was delivered to Number 10 on Saturday. 


Protesters joined them chanting 'police are the murderers' and held signs reading 'End Taser deaths now' and 'Failed by the state'.

The United Friends and Families Campaign (UFFC) members assembled in Trafalgar Square, London, on 26 October 2018

They march to Downing Street to remember those who have died in police custody, prisons and psychiatric hospitals. Families of those victims demand justice and raise awareness to prevent such deaths from happening.
