We are pleased to announce that the fifth round of National Mikey Powell Memorial Family Fund grants will open on 7 April 2022. We are also administering the new UFFC Legacy Fund, which is earmarked for the child dependents of custody death victims and their families.

Important: Affected families and/or campaigns will need to be registered on the NMPMFF website before applying for grants from the the general fund – various assessment partners are available to assist with applications.

This Family Fund grants round will open on Thursday, 7 April 2022 and it will close on Saturday, 7 May 2022.

The main difference in this fifth round (compared to previous ones) is that grants will not generally be awarded/issued on a rolling basis, but rather final decisions will be made after the closing date on 7 May 2022.

The exception to the above will be if it is confirmed by an Assessment Partner that the need is significantly urgent, or if a Crisis Fund is deemed appropriate.

Fifth Round Family Fund Allocation:

The NMPMFF have set aside £4,600.00 to be distributed to applicants that meet the criteria for grants. However, where deemed appropriate, some applicants may be advised to apply for the fast-track support via the Crisis Family Fund for emergency needs.
