We are pleased to announce the third round of National Mikey Powell Memorial Family Fund grants will open early in May 2021. We are also administering the Crisis Family Fund, launched in March 2021, which families can also apply to provided they meet the criteria.

Important: Affected families and/or campaigns will need to be registered on the NMPMFF website before applying for grants from the fund – various assessment partners are available to assist with applications.

This Family Fund round will officially open on 7 May 2021 and closes on 7 June 2021.

The main difference in this third round (compared to previous ones) is that grants will not generally be awarded/issued on a rolling basis , but rather final decisions will be made after the closing date on 7 June 2021.

The exception to the above will be if it is confirmed by an Assessment Partner that the need is significantly urgent.

Third Round Family Fund Allocation:

The NMPMFF have set aside £5,000 to be distributed to applicants that meet the criteria for grants. However, in addition to the current conditions of grant, affected families can also apply for general cash support (via the Crisis Family Fund) if they have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic  or other emergency needs. This will be considered even if those families do not have an active campaign which is ongoing!
